Christmas 2008

We had a very nice Christmas this year! This was actually my first Christmas away from my parents. Well, Christmas Eve that is. I've always spent the night at my parents' house and been there Christmas morning to open presents. We just decided this year that it would be easier to have Christmas at our own house. Santa presents would fill up our little Honda quickly! Next year would be even more difficult with 2 little ones. We did drive to Ellijay Christmas morning.

Owen is still young so he didn't actually ask for any presents. He enjoyed Christmas morning and had fun with opening gifts. He would open one present then show no interest in opening another for still playing with the first one.

We also took him to Rock City to see the "pretty lights." He loves looking at lights and doesn't understand there not being Santa Claus, snowmen, Christmas trees, etc. to look at anymore. I guess he'll slowly adjust. We are still listening to Christmas music in the car but that doesn't bother me at all.


Owen enjoyed playing with his big cousin, Jackson at my grandmother's house. I hope everyone had a nice holiday with their families!
